The service was exceptional. The server was very knowledgeable on the type of sushi of your preference and it feels like a home when you're dining there. Gives this a try, I wouldn't have rave about this place this much if it wasn't good.

Best sushi in Mechanicsburg! Mechanicsburg has been gifted with such a wonderful hidden Gem. Right in the heart of down town, this restaurant quickly became a locals favorite. The owner and sushi chef is a real deal. He is skilled and a master at his craft. Always top quality sushi and fresh ingredients every time. My favorite is their Tuna Sushi Bowl. The portions of each ingredient is the perfect amount to provide a delicious experience with every bite. The main hostess / waitress is wonderful and alway accommodating. She is true professional with a beautiful smile and a welcoming spirit. I highly recommend coming for Lunch or Dinner and experiencing this cuisine for your self. Kanagawa has the best sushi in the area. Hands down, without question. The fish is always incredibly fresh and flavorful. It is clear that the sushi chef takes great pride in his work. The sushi is beautiful and well constructed with perfect balance between the ingredients. The service is consistently friendly, helpful, and always able to suggest a meal to meet your taste. I have had sushi at every restaurant on the east and west shore and always wish that I was at Kanagawa instead.
By far, the BEST sushi in Pennsylvania I've had since I went to the beach! I have no pictures to show for since we were there for a dinner date, and by the time we ate most of it, it was too late. But we got the party boat and it was definitely worth the price we paid for! The place is adorable, and our waitress was on top of EVERYTHING! Will recommend and will come back when another craving comes up!
My son told me I had to try this place and it was great advice. Small little place, but the service was great, and the food was very good. The sushi menu is huge, and I settled on the Fuji Roll. It came out hot and fresh and was unexpectedly delicious. Also had the teriyaki beef with fried rice. It was filling and the beef was very tender. Not at all like any of the buffet style restaurants offer. As it's about 5 minutes from work, I'm sure I'll be here again.
Fabulous experience! I have celiac and it's tough for me to go out for dinner. This place made it easy for me. They were more than accommodating to me. There was another patron there who had celiac and she said she comes regularly and they take good care of her. I highly recommend not only because they were accommodating for my celiac but the food was freakin awesome!
Definitely my favorite sushi spot to go to. The food is always great, service is exceptional, restaurant is very clean, overall the most reliable restaurant in the area.
